How does the process start?
It starts by an idea. Either the House or the Senate introduce this idea and makes it a bill. The bill then goes through a series of committees from both sides of Congress. Then once it is changed and everyone agrees on it, they put on a vote so it can go to the White House. Then the bill goes into the other side of Congress and they can either filibuster it or come to an agreement and vote on it. The bill then goes to the President for evaluation and he can either veto it and make it die, or pocket veto it and act like its not even there. If he doesn't veto it, then the bill will then become a Law and it goes into the National Archives.
